London welcomes the first-ever Habanos World Days in person
- From June 20th to 22nd, London becomes the world epicentre of premium tobacco.
- Three days full of activities to honour the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand.
The first-ever Habanos World Days will kick off tomorrow in London. This historic event will take place from June 20th to 22nd, 2024, and will be an unprecedented celebration of the 55th anniversary of the iconic Habanos Trinidad brand.
For three days, Habano aficionados from around the world will be offered the opportunity to participate in a full program of unique activities and experiences around the tradition and culture of Habanos and the Trinidad brand. Attendees will enjoy exclusive events, food and wine pairings and, of course, the launch of the 2024 Trinidad Cabildos Limited Edition.
A program of activities full of surprises
On June 20th, the event will kick off with a classic “garden party” with a Cuban touch, where attendees will enjoy music, cocktails, gourmet food and, of course, Habanos. Attendees will have the chance to enjoy the premiere of Trinidad Robustos Extra, whose return to the brand’s classic portfolio -since it was launched in 2004- that was announced at the last edition of Habano Festival, in addition to the Trinidad Fundadores. An evening dedicated to the best of Cuba and the United Kingdom, with plenty of surprises in store for guests.
On June 21st, the day will offer aficionados the opportunity to attend a conference given by renowned figures of the Cuban cigar industry and the Habanos business, as well as an exhibition on Trinidad and its most emblematic and hard-to-find releases for even the most expert collectors. During the day the vitolas Trinidad Reyes, Trinidad Media Luna y Trinidad Topes will be tasted, and the winners of the “Perfect Trinidad Pairing” contest – Antonios Giannousakis and Robert Tomko from Birley Cigars, will present their winning pairing proposal to the audience. During the same occasion, the “Trinidad Tasting Time” will take place, an unprecedented event in which fifty-five tastings will take place in fifty-five different locations in the UK – all featuring Trinidad – making Habanos World Days a national celebration in honour of the brand.
On June 22nd, the event will culminate with a lavish gala dinner at the historic Victoria & Albert Museum, a black-tie evening dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand and the launch of the 2024 Trinidad Cabildos Limited Edition. They will also be able to taste Trinidad Vigía. During the dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to be the first to enjoy it, undoubtedly a memorable occasion for any enthusiasts. In addition, the charity auction of 5 exclusive humidors will be held, among which the Trinidad 55th Anniversary Fundadores Vintage 10 humidor by Charaf Tajer & S.T. Dupont ( No.0001), a numbered series of 1,000 humidors, in which the first 55 pieces have been created under the artistic direction of the prestigious designer Charaf Tajer, founder of the fashion brand Casablanca, who will attend this glamorous dinner, deserves special mention. The proceeds will be donated to the Cuban Public Health System.
